The Suffern Woman's club is a group of women who banded together to form a service club.  Begun in 1920, we are carrying on the tradition of our founders.  Our Mission Statement is: "To promote a recognized center for social and mental culture and to encourage education, community service and good citizenship".

We devote our efforts and time to raising funds to support the Suffern Community.  Every year we award a scholarship to a deserving Suffern High School Senior, support the Suffern Free Library and many other local community projects.

Our members consist of women of all ages with diverse life experiences such as business women, home makers, teachers, nurses, corporate executives and retirees.  We continue the bond of friendship begun almost 100 years ago by a group of "energetic, forward thinking and dedicated women" to provide the community service when and where it is needed.

If you are interested in volunteering by serving the community and making new friends: you are welcome to attend our meetings, which are held 12:30 pm the second and fourth Mondays September through May at the Suffern Library.
